Emma J. Biggs, 75, of Elkhart passed away at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday August 27, 2014 at her home. She was born March 14, 1939 in Muncie, Indiana to Andrew & Helen (Mills) Richardson. On December 19, 1998 in Osceola, Indiana she married Leo E. Biggs. He survives along with three sons, Jim (Theresa) Richardson of Goshen, John Clevenger, Phillip (Trish) Schlabach both of Elkhart; three step sons, Vern (Sue) Biggs, Clifford Biggs, Chuck Biggs all of Cassopolis, MI, two step daughters, Juanita Tucker of Elkhart and April Biggs of South Bend. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and three sisters, Barbara (Ivan) Kreig of Eaton, IN, Sandra Randolph of Elkhart and Judy Langsford of Goshen. She was preceded in death by a brother Jack Richardson and two brother in laws, Ernest Randolph and Ted Langsford. Emma attended Crossroads Community Church and enjoyed needlepoint and crocheting. She was employed for ten years at State Wide Aluminum in Elkhart. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday Sept. 3, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rice Cemetery. Pastor Tim Fisher from Crossroads Community Church will preside. Memorial contributions may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
