EAST PROVIDENCE --- Ernest V. Angell, 71, of Harborview, Pawtucket Avenue, a painting contractor until retiring, died yesterday at the Evergreen House Health Center.
Born in East Providence, he was a son of the late Harris and Mary (Hughes) Angell.
Mr. Angell was a member of the Harborview Tenants Association.
He leaves a daughter, Paula Rossaw in South Dakota; a sister, Dorothy M. Angell of Riverside, and eight grandchildren. He was the uncle of the Most. Rev. Kenneth A. Angell, DD, Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Providence.
The funeral will be held tomorrow in Riverside at 10 a.m. from the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 at St. Brendan's Church, Turner Avenue. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
