He was a member of Oppelo Baptist Church, a Mason and served in the Korean War.
He was survived by three brothers, Roy Sharp (Jean) of Jacksonville, Arkansas, R.J. Sharp of Yellville, and Jethro "Pete" Sharp of Greenbrier; two sisters, Arceal Morgan of Hesperia, California and Allie Sue Jones of Scotland, Arkansas; nieces; nephews; and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 5th at the Harris Chapel with Bro. Gene Tanner and Roger Sharp officiating.
Burial will be at Rock Springs Cemetery, in Jessieville, Arkansas at 2:30 p.m. by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the Harris Chapel.
