Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper - 1971:
" Mrs. Elizabeth Mary Laughlin, 82, of Frankenstein, died April 21 (1971) at St. Mary's Hospital, Jefferson City. She was born May 15, 1888, at Frankenstein, the daughter of Theodore and Catherine Strope Broker. On February 15, 1904, she was married to Charles Laughlin at Frankenstein. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1930. She was a member of Our Lady of Help Catholic church, Frankenstein and the Ladies sodality of that church.
Survivors include: two sons, Russell J. and Raymond T., both of Bonnots Mill; one daughter, Mrs. James Donehue, Linn; three brothers, Michael Broker, Henry Broker and John Broker, all of Bonnots Mill; three sisters, Misses Margaret and Louise Broker and Mrs. Paul Thoenen, all of R.R. Bonnots Mill; three grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Our Lady of Help Church, Frankenstein, with the Rev. Joseph Lorenz officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery."
