Jason Parker, beloved husband, father and son, entered the gates of heaven into God's arms on Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, at 12:50 a.m. Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at North Point Baptist Church, 2450 SW Wilshire, Joshua. Interment: Burleson Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home, Burleson. Jason was born Sept. 27, 1978, in Hurst, where he grew up until he met his beautiful and loving wife, Bobbie. They began their life journey on March 27, 1999. Jason loved being with his family, traveling, laughing and yelling at the TV when the Dallas Cowboys played. Jason loved the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and the Mavericks. Every Sunday was football Sunday with his family watching "his Cowboys." Jason touched the lives of many people with his smile, his generosity and his remarkable and courageous fight with cancer. Survivors: His wife, Bobbie; amazing son, Jared Parker; awesome son, Aren Voyles; precious little girl, Jaci Parker; father, Don Parker; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Dorenda Voyles; sisters, Dhonia Davis, Brandy Bartley, Jessica Lynn Schmitt and Donna Kay Walker; brother, Donnie Parker; and numerous other family members.
