Funeral services for Jewell Gay Ray Clark, 81, of Winnsboro will be 10 am Thursday, September 4, 2014, in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Clark and Rev. Ray Jennings officiating. Interment will follow in New Winnsboro Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 7 pm Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Clark was born September 20, 1932 in Anniston, AL to William Washington and Willie Ruth Walker Ray and passed from this life on September 1, 2014 at Franklin Medical Center.
She was a devoted housewife, constant caregiver to her husband of 59 years and loved to work puzzles of all kinds.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wallace Lorraine Clark; sons: Larry Dale Clark and Tony David Clark; 1 sister and 5 brothers.
Survivors include son: Randy Clark of Helen, GA; Susan Guimbellot and husband Todd, of Winnsboro; daughter-in-law, Becky Jennings Clark of Winnsboro; grandchildren: Matt Clark and wife, Gretchen; Brad Clark and wife, Jamie, and Adam Clark all of Winnsboro; Jamie Clark of Monroe; Justin Clark of Cleveland, GA; Meghan Clark of Helen, GA; Mary Kate Bland and husband William and RaeAnne Guimbellot all of Winnsboro; several great grandchildren; sisters: Mable Lobrano of Mangham and Pauline Reagan of Baskin; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Matt Clark, Brad Clark, Adam Clark, David Guimbellot, John Guimbellot and William Bland.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
