Tony Arthur Carter, Jr, 77, of Decatur, Arkansas died September 1, 2014 at Northwest Medical Center, Bentonville, Arkansas. Born January 25, 1937 in Kingsley, Iowa he was the son of Tony Arthur Carter, Sr and Lola Stevens Carter. Tony was a carpenter and member of the National Guard. He and Fay Watson were married in 1989.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Earlene Mann, brothers, Arvin Carter and Donald Carter, sisters, Veda Monk and Bertha Smith.

Survivors include his wife Fay of the home; one son Wesley Carter and wife Melody of Decatur, Arkansas; four grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; two brothers Milo Carter of Decatur, Arkansas and Lester Carter of Roxbury, Kansas; four sisters Margie Kuhn of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Verna Falk of Decatur, Arkansas, Shirley Zentz of Lees Summit, Missouri and Sharon Crowder Salina, Kansas.

Memorial services will be 3:30 p.m., Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Decatur Assembly of God with Rev. Kirk Anderson officiating.
