Myrtle Ann Scott Black, 73, returned to her heavenly father on August 31, 2014. She was born in Salt Lake City, UT on January 4, 1941 to Ray Scott and Gladys Clegg. After the passing of her father, her mother married James Irvin Callaway whom she always considered as her dad. On July 22, 1972, she married Gerald Charles Black in Bakersfield, CA; the marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. She was best known for cake decoration and for the Party Shop, as well as her friendly nature. She is survived by her children: Kelly (Steve) Johnson of Leeds, UT, Jim (Sarah), Lonie Black and Cezanne Pellett of St. George UT; grandchildren: Jeffrey (Ico) Johnson of Manila, Philippines, Cory (Mindy) Johnson of Ivins, UT, Megan Johnson, Adric and Liam Pellett and Lauren Black of St. George, UT; brother: Gary (Susan) Callaway; and "adopted" child, Jannell Medigovich. She was preceded in death by her father, dad, mother, sisters Joan Eddy and Linda Marden, and brother Jim Callaway.

Services will be held Saturday September 6, 2014 at 10 AM at the St George LDS Stake Center, 591 W 500 N. Visiting with the family and viewing of photos will be held prior to the services from 9 to 10 AM. To send your thoughts or messages to the family, please visit annblack.doctor9.net
