He was born May 24, 1988 in Kansas City, Mo., to Jeffrey Wayne and Dolores Elaine Hudson West. His 4-month battle with cancer ended peacefully after his family had exhausted all possibilities in Kansas City, Mo., Denver, Colo., Houston, Texas and Mexico. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gerald D. Hudson, Sr.,; paternal great-grandfather, Orbie West; and paternal great-grandfather, Charles Townsend, Sr. He leave his parents; and 3-year old brother, Keegan, all of the home; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Carol West of Butler' maternal grandmother, Juanita Hudson of Carl Junction, Mo.; paternal great-grandmother, Vera West of Butler; paternal great-grandmother, Ruth Townsend of Springfield; uncles, aunts, and cousins.
