Pamala Audene Brown went to be with her Lord on Aug. 29, 2014. Pam was born in Baird on Aug. 15, 1950. Pam was raised in Irving the majority of her life. Pam attended and graduated the nursing program at Cisco Junior College in 1994. Along with being an amazing nurse of 22 years, she had so much passion caring for others that she had dedicated her life to her residents. Pam and Wayne built their foundation and loving home in Mineola. She was loved and will be missed by all. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, a daughter, a sister and an aunt.
Pam is survived by her mother, Helen Memaw Whiteley; a loving and devoted husband of 22 years, Wayne Brown; with four beautiful daughters, Rhonda Williamson, Lisa Bass, Brandy Morris and Tammy Wellborn; loving grandchildren, Laci and Jasmond McGill, Shyla and Chris Davis, Michelle Bass, Quinton Kimmel, Macy Taylor, Tori Crudup, Trent Crudup, Stevey Newman, Staeley Newman, Stoney Morris, Ryan Wellborn, Dylan Wellborn, Griffyn Wellborn and Tallyn Wellborn; three great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce and husband William Johnson; and nephew, Bill and Shanda Johnson. Also, stepsisters, Kathy Irvin, Rita Severs, Debbie Tyson, Ginger Friday and Teresa Nelson; and sisters-in-law, Bess Williams, Wanda Bradshaw, Mary Blakely, Alana Solis, Tina Clawson and Norma Brown. She also is beloved by numerous nieces, nephews and faithful friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her father, Vernon Rains; and two daughters, Misty Brown and Citanya Scott.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Immediately following services, burial will be at New Hope Cemetery.
