Born in rural Buffalo County, Nebraska where she grew up and was educated. Married Gordon Niemoth April 15, 1937, in Grand Island. They farmed north of the Grand Island airport. He died in 1954 and she continued to farm with the help of her children until 1962 when she moved to town. Worked for St. Francis Medical Center in the dietary department retiring in 1972. Member of Messiah Lutheran Church.
Survived by one son, Lawrence and one daughter, Marlene Rockwell and grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, six brothers and three sisters.
