Billie Finan Cole, age 86, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 at the Woodlands Golden Living Center in Newburgh. She was born February 15, 1928 in Akron, OH to the late Cue DeMoss and late Alice DeMoss Whitsell.

Billie was retired from Qualex/Snap Photo. She owned and operated her own craft business, Billie Cole Crafts for 20 years. She went back to work at Chick-Fil-A and retired at the age of 81. She was a volunteer at Deaconess Hospital, a life member of VFW Post #1114 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Red Hat Society. Billie loved history, especially the Civil War Era and sewing. She was of the Methodist faith. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandma and great grandma. She loved her family deeply and will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Gayle Finan; son, Thomas Finan; former husbands, Ralph Finan and Ray Cole and a brother-in-law, Winfred “Skeets” McNatton.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy (Jim) Neukam of Owensboro; sister, June McNatton of Evansville; grandsons, Scott (Gaby) Neukam, Michael (Mary) Neukam and Adam Finan; great grandchildren, Ethan, Benjamin, Jude and Hadassah Neukam; nieces, Ramona McNatton and Phyllis Barker; great nieces and cousins.

Funeral services for Billie will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Pierre Funeral Home, grandson, Rev. Michael Neukam officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
