Graveside service is 11 AM Saturday, October 23, 2004 at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, officiated by Reverend Rick Lindsay. The family will receive friends Friday night from 7 to 9 at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home.
Mr. Alexander was born January 25, 1923 in York County, SC, a son of the late Robert Leslie Alexander and Bessie Mae Kiser Alexander. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a charter member of the Bethel Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of Scherer Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Harper Alexander, of Clover, SC; daughters, Kay A. Westmoreland of Lake Wylie, SC and Lynn A. Pursley of Clover, SC; sons, Paul L. Alexander, Keith J. Alexander, both of Clover, SC, L. Nelson Alexander of York, SC and Mark E. Alexander of Oahu, HI; and 11 grandchildren.
