Francis "Frank" died in Union township of Independence Co. AR. Information came from his death certificate. He was the son of Lorenzo Dow Barnes and Mahala Tosh. He married Julia West on Dec. 22, 1881, in Independence Co., AR. Their children were Gertrude, Frances, Florence, William H., & Charles Lorenzo Barnes. Frank's mother died when he was young and he was raised by her sister, Sirena "Rene" Tosh Barnes. He was buried on March 26, 1921. His daughter Florence had died 24 days before Frank died.
