Noahdiah Emmons, who has just died at Hinsdale, aged 80, spent his life in the town. He and his brother kept a store on the "Flats" many years till the village about the depot grew up and then moved there and bought out Edward Nash, continuing in business together until Monroe [Emmons] died. Mr Emmons leaves a widow and an estate worth $12,000.
