Mrs. Doris A. Krinke, age 55, of 309 4th St., Waunakee passed away at a Madison hospital on Friday, April 13, 1979, following a short illness. Mrs. Krinke, formerly Doris Bacon was born on June 5, 1923 in DeForest, Wisconsin and was a lifelong resident of the Waunakee area. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Waunakee, its Christian Mother’s Society, and she had served on the Church Council for several years. Mrs. Krinke was a member of the Womans Club, Waunakee, Legion Auxiliary, Music Parents Club, and the Waunakee Ecumenical Council. She was presently serving on the Board of Directors of Pleasant Valley, Inc. Medical Clinic Corp. in Waunakee. She was married to Marvin Krinke on October 10, 1944, he preceded her in death in 1975.

Survivors include a daughter, Miss Marcia Krinke. of Appleton, WI; three sons, Keith, Kevin and Kurt all of Waunakee; two grandchildren: four sisters, Mrs. John (Lois) Clark of Waunakee, Mrs. Glenn (Joan) Heyn of Madison, Mrs. Charles (Rachel) Julson of Madison, and Mrs. Ray (Nancy) Vanderploeg of Waunakee; two brothers, Vernon Bacon of Anderson, California, and John M. Bacon, Middleton.

Funeral services were held on Monday, April 16 at the Schwab Funeral Home, and at St. John Catholic Church, Waunakee, with the Rev. Elmer Dietzel, Pastor officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
