Johnnie Calvin Franklin, Jr., 52, of 2040 E. 18th St., died unexpectedly Thursday, March 2, 2006, at Hamot Medical Center. He was born September 20, 1953, a son of Johnnie Calvin Franklin, Sr., of Peoria, Ill. and Richlene Williams of Erie. He was a lifelong resident of Erie. He was previously employed at Erie County Farms and Van De Kamps. He was currently employed by Polymer Molding, Inc., starting as a temporary employee, then hired for permanent, full-time employment based on his excellent job performance. He was a member of Second Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, singing, and fishing. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary and Marvin Williams. In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Terri Darby Franklin; a son, Calvin Franklin; and a daughter, Shateria Franklin, all of Erie; five brothers, Walter Williams (Shirley), Louis Williams (Deborah), Terry Williams (Deanna), and Billy Joe Williams, all of Erie, and Stephon Williams of Pasadena, Calif.; a sister, Yvette Dancy (Danny), Erie; nephew of Herman (Rev. Beverly Williams) Williams, Meadville, Joan and Emily Williams and Larcenia Tate, Erie, and the late Geraldine, Mary Jane, and Dorothy Williams; son-in-law of Marva Clayton Jordan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
