Within a month both George W. Kimbley and his wife, Ada May Ruth Kimbley, passed away. Mrs. Kimbley was the first to cross the dark river of death. She was born near Newark, Missouri, May 17 1884, and died at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Pruitt near Stillwater, Oklahoma, November 16, 1909. The body was brought back to Missouri for interment.

On December 1st, 1909, she was followed by her husband, George W. Kimbley. He was born November 25, 1875, in Clark County, Missouri.

They were married April 1st, 1906. To them were born three children. Only one, a bright little boy, still lives.

About four years ago Mr. and Mrs. Kimbley were converted, after which they joined the Mt. Pisgah Baptist church and remained members to the time of their death. They were well known and held in high esteem by all.

Funeral services of each were held in Mt. Psigah Baptist church by the pastor of North River church, after which the bodies were laid to rest in the Cedar Grove (King) cemetery within a month.
