Roy Frederick of Cumberland Head died yesterday at his home following a long illness. He was 68.
Mr. Frederick was a native of Beekmantown and was born Oct. 18, 1887. He was a lifelong farmer and resided on Cumberland Head for about 34 years.
Mr. Frederick is survived by one son, Dewey Frederick of Plattsburgh; four daughters, Miss Hazel Frederick of Cumberland Head, Mrs. John Murray of AuSable Forks, Mrs. Andrew Bene of Plattsburgh and Mrs. Vincent McKenna of Cadyville.
There also are eight grandchildren; one brother, Russell Frederick of Plattsburgh, and one sister, Mrs. Silas Loso of Barre, Vt.
The body is at Brown's Funeral Parlors, where funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10. The Rev. Frederick J. Ball will officiate. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery.
