Alice Harlan was born July 22, 1764, in West Marlborough Twp., Chester County, Pennsylvania. She immigrated when about three years of age, with her parents to Cumberland County, North Carolina, and later with them to Randolph County where she was married.
Moses and Alice Robbins and their family immigrated in 1816, to Wayne County, Indiana, and settled on lands near the present town of Centerville. Alice died in Wayne County on June 17, 1835, and Moses died on March 28. 1850. They were both buried in the Robbins' Burying Grounds, now known as Locust Grove Cemetery, near Abington, Indiana in Wayne County.
