Andrew Wynia, 63, passed away the morning of March 30, 1963, at Pella Community Hospital after a brief illness. He was a lifetime resident of Pella, where he found employment in the Garden City Feeder Works, the Beurkens Mfg. Co. and at the Vermeer Mfg. Co since was first organized.
Funeral services were held at the Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home on April 1 with the Rev Harmon Wierenga officiating. Casket bearers were Gerrit Dieleman, Hopkins Mitchell, Harold Fisk, Lewis Vos, Gerrit Wielard and Earl Witter, all fellow workers at Vermeer Mfg. Co. Burial was In Oak wood cemetery.
Andrew Wynia was born in Pella on Dec 10, 1899, the son of Dennis and Dena (Hellinga) Wynia. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Jim (Margaret) Klyn, and two brothers, Lewis of Cornell, Wisc, and Marion of Marion, Iowa.
A sister, Mrs. Abe (Nellie) Buwalda, and also an infant brother and sister preceded in death.
A bachelor, Andrew made his home with his sister during the later years of his life.
