She was born on January 13, 1925 in Perrysburg, Ohio to Frank and Lula (Eckel) Rectenwald.
Marian was raised on a farm at Eckel Junction Rd in Perrysburg until she married William Harrison on June 7, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1993.
Marian had worked as a comptometer operator at Willis Overland during World War II and was a Postmistress at Lime City, Ohio. She was a member of the former St. Mary Magdalene Church and currently a member of All Saints Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her children, Janice (Richard, Jr) Beehner, Randall (Lisa) Harrison and Joyce (John) Pollock; grandchildren, Dan, Patti, Missy, Kevin ,Teresa, Liz, Racheal, Kristin, Lauren, Billy and Johnny; sister, Mildred Sattler. Also surviving are 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Marian was preceeded in death by her siblings, Howard Rectenwald, Pauline Kemper, Edgar Rectenwald and Loretta Kervin.
Family and friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd. on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 9:00 AM until time of services beginning at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fort Meigs Cemetery.
