Judy Kay Graham Chapman, 66, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Raymond Meredith Chapman, died while surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 31, 2014.
Mrs. Chapman was born August 29, 1948, in Houston, Texas, a daughter of Ermene Bowick Graham and the late Robert P. Graham.
She was a retired Real Estate Agent. She loved reading, painting, crafts, and Siamese cats. She was an excellent cook as evidenced by her vast library of cookbooks. As an Army wife, she hosted many gatherings all over the world. She enjoyed entertaining friends and family. Judy always had a sweet smile and made everyone feel welcomed.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Chapman of Charleston, SC; her mother, Ermene Graham of Summerville, SC; her two sisters-in-law, Judith Chapman and JoAnn McGinnigle, both of Charleston, SC; two nieces, a nephew and two great-nieces.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2014, in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
