Daughter of Charles Foutch and Malinda Martin. Two brothers: Harley and Nelson. One sister: Emma Foutch Samuel.
Married Virgel Freiley, they had one daughter (Gladys Mae Freiley Herren), they divorced. Married Marion Orlo Grove 1913. Two sons, Edgar Laverne and Harold. Marion died 1970.

Alice was a skilled seamstress who hand stitched many quilts for profit. She also sewed all of the family's clothing.

Cause of death: goiter.
