Major League Baseball Player. The 6-foot-1 right-hander pitched for the New York Giants from 1924-27, the Boston Braves in 1927 to 1929 and the Brooklyn Robins in 1929. His best seasons were with the Giants when he was 12-8 in 1925 and 13-12 with 222 innings pitched in 1926. He was traded with pitcher Hugh McQuillan and infielder Doc Farrell to the Braves on June 12, 1927 for catcher Zack Taylor, pitcher Larry Benton and infielder Herb Thomas. He finished his career with a 41-48 record and 4.54 earned run average.
