Dale was born October 13, 1929 in Enid, to parents, Jonathan Daniels and Anna (Routh) Daniels and died August 29, 2014 in Enid, OK . He attended Enid Public Schools until his senior year when he moved to San Antonio, Texas, where he graduated and played basketball. After graduating from high school, he moved back to Enid, where he met and married Maurita McClane in 1950. They were married 64 wonderful years.

He was an electrician and worked 45 years for Pillsbury/ADM before retiring in 1999. He was an outdoor sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and skiing. He played fast-pitch softball for Pillsbury and various other teams. He loved New York Yankee baseball and all OU Sooner sports.

He was preceded in death by his wife Maurita, parents Jonathan and Anna, brothers Ralph, Wayne, Glenn, Merle and Alvin, and two sisters, Alice Farque and Virginia Kirby.

Survivors include three daughters, Denise Morris and husband Richard, of Enid, Carla Parriott and husband Bill, of Enid, and Sandy Peoples and husband James, of Enid, a son, Steven Daniels and wife Amy, of Edmond, OK, ten grandchildren, Colby and Jordan Morris, Erin Engel, Alex Parriott, McClane, Nathan and Aaron Daniels, Korie Holmes, Spencer and Trevor Peoples, one great-grandson, William Engel, and sister-in-law Gerry Daniels.
