Mr. James (Jim) Russell Risinger a was born March 19, 1944, in Louisville, Kentucky to Marvin Risinger and Edith Roberts Jenkins and passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, was a Baptist, and had retired as the plant manager of the McMinnville Garment Factory.
Mr. Risinger was preceded in death by parents, and special family members Katherine Strong and Russell Roberts who were an important part of raising him during his youth.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, two grandchildren, five sisters, one brother, a step sister and numerous other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 02, 2014, in the Chapel of McMinnville Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Ramsey officiating followed by interment Mt. View Cemetery under the direction of the funeral home. VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173 will administer the Military Grave Rites.
