FUHRMAN, Dorothy Emma (nee Gerth) 1916 - 2014 Formerly of Waterloo, Dorothy passed away at Hillcrest Village Care Centre in Midland on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at the age of 97. Born in Wellesley, Ontario, a daughter of the late Norman and Adelaine (nee Eydt) Gerth, Dorothy married Stanley Frederick Fuhrman who predeceased her in 1984. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Carol Guzik (husband Stanley Guzik passed away in 2005); son, Peter Fuhrman and wife Virginia; grandchildren, Gregory (Heather) Guzik, Karen (Joe) Riendeau; David (Patti) Guzik, Bradley Fuhrman, Brian (Linda) Fuhrman; great-grand-children, Hailey, Mark, Stephen, Nicole, Jennifer, Brandon, Bryce, Westley, and Connor; and brothers, William Gerth of Waterloo and Howard Gerth of London. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was also predeceased by her brothers, Nelson, John, Floyd, Donald, Robert and sisters, Lorraine, Marjorie, and Ruth. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Dorothy with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday, August 18, 2014 from 10:30 - 11:15 a.m., followed by the funeral service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:30 a.m. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room. Interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo after the reception.
