Juanita Elizabeth Terry passed away Saturday morning, August 30, 2014. Visitation will be held at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 2, from 6pm to 8pm. Graveside services will be held at Crestview Memorial Park on September 3, at 10am with Harvey McMurray officiating.
Juanita was born on July 2, 1925 in Olney, Texas to the late Carl and Georgia Bishop. Juanita spent her childhood in Graham, Texas, where she attended school. She married Noel H. Terry in 1947 in Yuma, Arizona. Together, Juanita and Noel spent a few pleasant years in California, before moving to Wichita Falls in 1954. Juanita was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, and showed her love for God often. She was an active person, being involved with the VFW Auxiliary. She was a garage sale enthusiast who loved bowling as much as painting ceramics.
Juanita is preceded in death by her loving husband; Noel H. Terry, sisters; Ophie Fay Stephens, Mary Dell Duncan, and Carleen Metzger, and son-in-laws Kenneth Coffee Sr., and Danny Wyatt.
Surviving relatives include one sister; Edith Parker of Whitesboro, Texas, Children; Terralynn Coffee of Wichita Falls, Annette Cook and husband; Gary, of Justin, Texas, Noel and Alynn Terry of Wichita Falls, Grandchildren; Teri Barr, April Dodson, Kenneth Coffee Jr., Willy Coffee, Leslie Miser, Daniel Wyatt, Kristen (and Jeremy) Martin, and Sarah Cook, and 17 Great-Grandchildren. She was the greatest Meemaw in the world.
