Dale Keith Smart Dec. 13, 1950 - Feb. 27, 2006 Visitation for Dale Keith Smart will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles Street) on Monday, March 6, 2006 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Basham Funeral Care Chapel on Tuesday morning, March 7, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Dale was born December 13, 1950 and he passed away February 27, 2006 in Bakersfield, California. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Maxine Smart. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Smart; daughter, Wendy Smart; step-daughter, Lisa Atkison and her husband Mike; step-daughter, Leanna Henson; step-son, Jimmy Herman; grandchildren, Jocelyne Walters, Dustin Reed, Melissa Herman, Deborah Herman, Jamie Herman, Paige Atkison and Jacob Atkison; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Beth Smart; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many many friends. Dale was a foster parent as well as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor for Desert Counseling, T.N.T. and Turning Point. He was loved by all that knew him and he will be deeply missed by everyone.
