AUGUSTA, GEORGIA--Mr. Richard Gilbert Marchman, 77, of 2005 Circular Drive, died Thursday, December 3, 1998, at the Medical College of Georgia.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road, with the Revs. Len Chavis and John Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Marchman, a native of White Plains, had retired as a heavy equipment operator for Duffie Construction Co. He was a member of Lumpkin Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Judy K. Cenate, Augusta, Martha Carolyn Godwin, Pauline Lewis, Tennille, and Lisa Cox, Evans; a brother, Gene Marchman, Hephzibah; a sister, Kate Thigpen, Augusta; and seven grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Cox, Randy Roberts, Ashley Helton, Andy Lewis, Terry Godwin, Keith Cenate and David Lewis.
