Dr. Michael Paul, age 90 former Superintendent of the School District of Philadelphia died peacefully on March 27, 2014 after a prolonged illness. Michael was a longtime resident of East Falls and Longport, NJ. He was a member of Atlantic City County Country Club, Greate Bay Country Club and the Philadelphia Art Alliance. Michael was an educator, a talented artist, a devoted husband and a loving parent to three generations. He loved golf, boating, entertaining family and friends and traveling, especially to the island of St. Croix. Wherever, he was adamant to toast the sunset with one of his "killer Martinis". Michael was predeceased by his parents Harry and Elvira, his sister Loretta Korostoff, his beautiful and loving wife Marie and his loyal buddy his great-granddog "Murphy". He is survived by his wonderful Barrett in-laws, his loving sister Gloria Meyers, his daughtet Diane and her husband Paul, his granddaughter Jennifer and his grandson Andrew and his wife Jenn; three precious great grandchildren Ben, Jonathan and Anna McCartney survive him as do numerous nieces and nephews. Michael had a long and interesting life and he lived it well. Interment and Service is private. A celebration is planned for late spring.
