PLATTSBURGH - Edward W. Allen, 67, of 5 Mildred Blvd. died Wednesday at the CVPH Medical Center following a long illness.
He was born in Plattsburgh on Sept. 16, 1905, the son of Walter (Chick) and Laura Allen. Mr. Allen recently retired from Sherlton Cleaners, where he had been a long-time employee.
Survivors included two sons, Robert of Plattsburgh and William of Peru; three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Patricia) Currier and Mrs. Eugene (Geraldine) Boissy, both of Plattsburgh, and Mrs. Robert (Edith) Neish of Morrisonville and 14 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Fiday at 9 a.m. at St. John's Church. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
