Heather Lee McGough passed away in her home in Eros, LA, August 28th, 2014, at the age of 29.

Heather came into this world September 27, 1984, to proud parents Kenny and Sherry McGough, joining older sister Crystal.

She grew up in Monroe, LA, surrounded by laughter and love, and attended Ouachita Parish High School.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM on September 1st, 2014, at Mulhearn Funeral Home on 165 North in Monroe. Officiating will be Heather’s cousin Shane Adam Nugent.

Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Left to cherish her memory are her fiancé, Jeremy Mason and son, Garrett Mason; parents, Kenny McGough, Sherry McGough, and Jerry Hoffpauir; sister, Crystal McClure and her husband Patrick McClure; paternal grandparents, Monte and Jessie McGough; maternal grandparents, Jessie Massey and friend Phillip Beech; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Jessie James Massey and uncles, James (Jimmy) Lavelle Massey, Wayne McGough and Bobby McGough.

Heather was a loving stay-at-home-mom whose world revolved around her little boy and her fiancé. A good ol’ country girl through and through, she was a beautiful person inside and out who never met a stranger. Heather was known to be fiercely loyal and protective of her family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Chad Navarro, Cole McMillon, Jason Duncan, Mike Odom, Chess Struben, Patrick McClure, Jerry Smalling, and Chris Turnbow. Honorary pallbearer will be Danny McGough.
