He was born and lived all his life in Valdosta, a member of the Church of Christ and a Veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, and daughter, Mrs. Faye D. Finney of Albany; four sisters, Mrs. Clyde Wisenbaker, Mrs. Francis Finney, Mrs. M. V. Robinson and Mrs. Margaret Garner, all four of Valdosta; five brothers, Roy H. Dasher, Sr., Remer Dasher, Bic E. Dasher, Joseph W. Dasher, and Robert F. Dasher, all five of Valdosta; and two grandchildren. The funeral services were held Wednesday at Carson McLane Funeral Home with burial in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Mr. Dasher had many relatives in Madison. They are an uncle Mr. Adolph Dasher; Mrs. Irene Cozart of Cherry Lake, Mrs. Douglas Medlin, Mr. Fred Dasher and Mr. Jack Dasher, all first cousins. Mr. Dasher had suffered a heart attack about two weeks ago but was improved and expected to be released on Tuesday. His wife found him dead when she went to visit him Monday.- Madison (FL) Enterprise
