In her teens, Lottie was a singer and actor in local stage productions.
“Mrs. W.T. Campbell Claimed by Death,” Vancouver Province, January 18, 1944, page 18: “West Vancouver, Jan. 18. Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte Campbell, 64, or 2079 Inglewood, who died Sunday at her home, were held today at St. Paul’s Church, Vancouver, with Rev. Canon Harold G. King, Rev. Father W. Cooper and rev. E.W. P. Carter officiating. Interment was in Ocean View Burial Park. Hollyburn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Campbell was born in Ontario and came to this province 32 years ago. She had lived her for four years. Surviving are her husband, W.T. Campbell, four daughters, Mrs. James A. Smith, New Westminster, Mrs. Kenneth M. Skene, Los Angeles; Mrs. John Godwin, Vancouver, and Mrs. Cecil G. Alton, West Vancouver; three brothers, George, William and Lawrence Hunt, of Vancouver; one sister, Mrs. Elliot Page, in England; and four grandchildren.”
