LINDSAY E. STEWART, 26, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014 at I.U. Health University Hospital in Indiana-polis. Born in Fort Wayne, Lindsay graduated from Snider High School where she was very active in band. She then went on to earn her bachelor's degree in accounting from IPFW-Indiana University. She had been working with Wright, Lerch, and Litow as the team leader in the finance department for the past three years. Lindsay was an avid fan of the Tin Caps. She also enjoyed reading, cross stitching, bowling, going to Disney World and cooking. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and Delta Sigma Pi. Surviving are her mother, Joni Stewart of Fort Wayne; fiancee, Andrew Sherwood of Fort Wayne; sisters, Julie (Dayton) Dobler of South Dakota, Jamie Malloy of Fort Wayne; and nephews, Aiden and Collin. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Stewart; and grandmother, Billiette Busse. Service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd. with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Steven Ahlersmeyer officiating. Calling also from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1, 2014 at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Ind. Memorials may be made to the family.
