Elizabeth Jane Seanor June 26, 1922 - Aug. 27, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Elizabeth Jane Seanor, 92, of South Bend, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, in the Sanctuary at Holy Cross. She was born on June 26, 1922, in Clarion, IA, to the late Herbert Keith and Dora Jane (Cole) Eike. On January 3, 1942, she married John T. Seanor Jr., who preceded her in death on September 26, 2012. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Melissa Seanor, and a brother, Herbert Eike. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Mary (Dennis) Borowski and Christine (David) Durkin, both of South Bend; her son, John H. (Sandi) Seanor of Edwardsburg, MI; nine grandchildren, Gregory (Kelli), Brian, Daniel (Amie) Krawiec, Jennifer (Matthew) Hamby, Kristen (Jason) Turnage, Gregory, Christopher (Karen) and Michael (Julie) Seanor and Kristin (Seth) Whitaker; 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She retired in 1984 from Holbert Engineering, where she worked as the office manager for 20 years. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Friday, August 29, 2014, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday in the funeral home, with burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery, South Bend.
