Find A Grave contributor cbkehler added: Cora was the first of the James children born in Maryland. Her birth in 1886 came several years after the move to the farm. She was the one James sister who never married. She lived for awhile with her sister Rebecca in Washington, DC and found work as a clerk. Over time she rented rooms and found lots of time to give advice to all her nieces and nephews. She is buried in the family plot with her sister Rebecca and others.
