G.W. Blocker, 89, retired farmer, moved to Young County in 1906 from Palo Pinto County, Texas with his family. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survived by four daughters - Mrs. Mildred Watson, Mrs. Georgia Rice, Mrs. Clayte Lovelady, Mrs. Katherine Wingo; one son - Arzy Blocker; one brother - Leo Blocker; two sisters - Mrs. Alice Locke and Mrs. Macie Pennington; 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
