Pat's parents were Marjorie and Kelsy Black and they lived in the Oklahoma area, then moved to the Cuyama area later when Pat was just a baby. Her pastimes were to cook and bake for company and for many church potlucks and socials at the New Hope Pentecostal Church she loved so dearly as a member. Doing all types of arts and crafts were only some of the things she loved doing, but she was known best by all for her homemade strawberry pies. Pat leaves behind the love of her life of almost 45 years, Frank E. Brummett. She also leaves behind her two sons and a brother. Many close family and friends will dearly miss Pat, especially her little dog Regina.
