Died at Blandville
The Blandville correspondent to the Ballard Yeoman says: Uncle Sig Thompson, formerly of this county, but for the past several years has been living in California, returned here some few weeks ago on a visit, was taken suddenly ill at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Kate Jones, Saturday afternoon and died in a few hours. He leaves a wife and two daughters in California and several children in this county.
