Anita M. Dreyer Underwood, age 78, of Niagara Village and formerly of Harborcreek, died Monday, February 27, 2006 at Holy Spirit Hospital in Harrisburg. Born in Erie on November 25, 1927 she was a daughter of the late Louis and Florence Wintermeyer Dreyer. She was a graduate of Academy High School and was a homemaker. Anita enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, ceramics, having a good time with friends and playing cards. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph L. Underwood; a sister, Eileen May; and a brother, Frank Dreyer. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Kuhn and her husband Joseph, of Erie, and Carol Prokopchak and her husband Steve, of Harrisburg; a son, Joseph Underwood and his wife Carol, of Harrisburg; and a sister, Jean Bessemer, of Erie. She is further survived by eight grandchildren and three great granddaughters.
