Savannah, Missouri--M. Lucille (Pendleton) Leeson-McIntyre, 77, Savannah, died Wednesday May 10, 2000 at a St. Joseph Hospital.
Mrs. Leeson-McIntyre and her husband, Roy Leeson, owned and operated the Savannah Sales Company In Savannah for 13 years before retiring.
Born in Andrew County, Missouri on November 13, 1922, she was a lifelong resident of that county.
Mrs. Leeson McIntyre was a member of the First Baptist Church, Savannah, where she serve as Sunday School Outreach Coordinator. She also was a volunteer at the Shady Lawn Nursing Home, Meals-On-Wheels program, and Savannah Housing, Inc., all of Savannah.
On September 18, 1939, she married Roy Leeson. He died in 1980. In 1981 she married Ray McIntyre. He died in 1990.
Mrs. Leeson-McIntyre also was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Nellie G. Pendleton; two brothers, Clinton Pendleton and Howard Ratliff; a sister, Pauline Jones; and a grandchild.
Surviving: two daughters, Shirley C. Howard, Savannah, and Norma L. Mackey Platte City, Missouri; a son, Ronald Leeson, Savannah; two brothers, Verl Pendleton, Union Star, Missouri, and George Pendleton, Cameron, Missouri; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, First Baptist Church, Savannah. The body will be taken to the church one hour before the service. Burial: Savannah Cemetery. Family visitation: 7 to 9 tonight, at the Breit & Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 500 E.
