Funeral for David Wayne McCutcheon, 59, of Somerville will be today, August 30, 2014, at 4 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with Brother Lee Carter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. at the church.

Mr. McCutcheon died on Thursday, August 28, 2014. He was born May 7, 1955, in Morgan County to Bernard Clifton McCutcheon and Rosa May Askenburg McCutcheon. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in the Somerville Chapter and was a member of the Somerville Civitans. David graduated from Brewer High School after having 12 years of perfect attendance. He was the owner of McCutcheon Construction Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Danny and Timmy McCutcheon.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Cannon McCutcheon; two daughters, Melissa Rose Orme (Demetrius) of Las Vegas, NV and Sara Elizabeth McCutcheon of Cullman; two brothers, Steven Clifton McCutcheon (Sherry) of Athens, GA and Robert Glenn McCutcheon of Somerville; nephews, Michael McCutcheon, Alex McCutcheon and Brandon McCutcheon; and nieces, Laronica McCutcheon and Melanie McCutcheon.
