OBITUARY as published in "The Jackson Sun" Newspaper on August 30, 2014:

Medina, TN- Services for Patsy Seavers Hardison Rhodes will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2014 in the chapel at Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home in Medina, TN. The service will be conducted by Bro. Dale Denning and burial will follow at Centerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Patsy died Thursday, August 28, 2014 at VanAyer Nursing Home after several years of declining health. Ms. Rhodes was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Milan and deeply loved Jesus and singing his praises.

Ms. Rhodes was born on March 15, 1939 to the late Flossie and Harvey Seavers. She attended school in Medina and worked several years at Rockwell. She is best remembered as being a bus driver for the Milan Special School District from 1974 to 1982 and for her time spent working at Walmart. Patsy spent her Friday nights and Saturdays, during this time doing something she truly loved which was transporting the Milan High School Band to football games and band competitions. She later worked for the Gibson County School District, ITT, and Area Wide Communications.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Rhodes was preceded in death by her first husband, G.W. Hardison, Sr.; her son, Gerald Wayne Hardison, Jr.; brothers, James, Earl, and Billy Seavers and sisters, Rachel Kelly and Brooksie Smith....
