Veronica Lynne Phillips, 49 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away Thursday Aug. 28, 2014, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born May 16, 1965, at Modesto, Calif., the daughter of Floyd and Betty Cleek.

A beautiful woman inside and out, Lynne was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece and friend to many. Many knew her as Mama Lynne. She never met a stranger and could always make you smile. She loved her family unconditionally.

She is survived by her husband, James Phillips of the home; her parents, Floyd and Betty Cleek of Lake City, Fla.; children, Korre Phillips of the home, Jamie Lawson and Amanda Phillips, both of Paragould; sister, Pamela Waldo and husband of Gainesville, Ga.; brother, Jason Cleek and wife Teresaca of Lake City, Fla.; sister, Christy Mills and husband Eddie of Trumann; and three grandchildren, Adam Phillips, Evelyn Lawson and Isabella Diaz. She also leaves a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son, Troy Adam Phillips.

A memorial service ws held at the Community Center in Bay under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila.
