"FRANK D. HOPE DIES SUDDENLY
"Rites Saturday For Rush County Man
"Mr. Frank D. Hope, 70, Waldron R.R. 1, Orange Township, Rush County, died suddenly in Indianapolis at 11:22 a.m. Wednesday. Death occurred at the Veteran's Administration Building, 36 S. Pennsylvania St. Mr. Hope had suffered a heart condition for many years and death was due to coronary occlusion.

"Mr. Hope was born at Fillmore, in Putman County, on February 3, 1892, a son of Charles F. and Olivia Hope. He married Norma Haymond on January 1, 1925, and she survives with a son, Danny Hope, at home, and a brother, Paul R. Hope of Indianapolis.

"Mr. Hope spent his early life in Coatsville and resided in Bloomington from 1924 to 1937, where he practiced optometry. In 1937 he moved to Indianapolis and was employed by the state and served as supervisor of paroles until 1942. He retired to the farm in 1945. He attended Purdue University and was a member of Phi Delta Theta social fraternity, a Veteran of World War I, member of Masonic Lodge of Indianapolis and Scottish Rite, Rushville Elks Club and Veterans of W.W.I.

"Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ewing Mortuary with Rev. John Hoadley officiating. Burial will be in VanPelt Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 4:00 p.m. Friday."
