Memorial service for Robert Norman Chastain of Boring, who died Tuesday of a heart attack, will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Carroll Funeral Home. He was 52. Born in Koshkonong, MO, Mr. Chastain lived in many places during his career in the Navy.
He came to Oregon in 1961 and settled in Boring in 1967.
He is survived by his wife, Nettie; son, Robert of Boring, OR; daughters, Donna M. Chastain of Ponca City, OK; and Kathy Hughes of Estacada; step-mother, Pinky (s/b Pinkie) Chastain, and half-brother, Jerry Chastain, both of Koshkonong, MO; and four grandchildren.
Cremation will take place in Lincoln Memorial Park.
