SOUTH BEND – Ricky L. Watson, 48, passed away at 4:50 AM Friday, August 29, 2014 at Signature Healthcare of South Bend.
Ricky was born on September 1, 1965 in South Bend, Indiana to Jerry Watson, Sr. and Billie (Bagwell) Watson White, and has been a lifelong resident of this area. Ricky’s father, Jerry Watson, Sr. preceded him in death. Ricky previously worked as a painter and as a custodian. He loved his family and was known as a man with a kind, generous heart; willing to give “the shirt off of his back” to anyone in need.
Ricky is survived by his mother, Billie White of South Bend; sisters, Terri (James) Chipps and Debbie Watson, both of Mishawaka; brothers, Jerry Watson, Jr. of South Bend, Tony (Patty) Watson of Osceola, and Nick White, Sr. of South Bend; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A private family gathering will take place at a later date to remember Ricky’s life. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation, 39 Broadway Suite 2700, New York, New York 10006.
